As Executive Director, I ensure that the CAE Memphrémagog fully realizes its mission, which is to help businesses succeed and to support the economic development of the Memphrémagog RCM. I also oversee the management of material, financial and human resources, as well as relations and collaborations with the organizations and institutions of the Memphremagog RCM.
Because we are a fairly small team, I also act as an advisor to the entrepreneurs. We share files and my particular expertise in retail and distribution is often called upon.
I see my role as that of an orchestra conductor who ensures harmony and coherence between the financial tools that are our instruments and a team of virtuosos. Their complementary skills and experience allow us to optimize our interventions in support of entrepreneurs.
I also value the partnership and participation of both the CAE team and the Memphremagog RCM. Given that we share a common goal, I firmly believe that, together, we have a better chance of achieving it and of developing our region at all levels. My main challenge is to maximize the impact of the resources at our disposal.
What I like most in my work is the cooperation and interaction with my team, the entrepreneurs and the partners of the region’s economic milieu. The most important thing for me is to improve and enrich the assistance process by maintaining what makes us different: a human, personalized and warm approach. Here, entrepreneurs talk to human beings from the very first contact. Nothing is automated; we seek to maintain partnership relationships and to improve and enrich the assistance process. It’s a daily challenge that I am passionate about.
