CAE Memphrémagog held its AGM on June 18 at the Mont Orford ski chalet.
CAE Memphrémagog brought together economic development partners and clients supported over the past year for a networking event at the Mont Orford ski chalet. Chair Caroline Plamondon and Executive Director Nathalie Meunier each took turns presenting the various services offered to entrepreneurs by the CAE.
They noted that over the organization’s 42 years of existence, hundreds of businesses have been supported by CAE, with more than $35 million invested to help businesses through their start-up, growth, or transfer phases.
The results of the past fiscal year were also presented:
𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: $1.3M in loans, generating total investments of over $6.5M
𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: over 100 businesses supported, with 11 receiving expertise from external consultants
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: over $60K invested in 17 structural projects aimed at strengthening the community’s economic vitality and developing entrepreneurs’ skills
